Hello, I am 47 years old. I was 110 kilos, I started a diet on my own and dropped to 102 kilos. I had Covid once during the Covid period. I rarely do sports. My diet consists of fatty foods. I quit smoking over a pack a day 1 year ago. Then I smoked a liquid cigarette called vozol and after that I started to feel constant pain in the left side of my chest, side and middle. I was constantly examined by cardiologists for fear of a heart attack.

Hello! Pain in the left chest area can be caused by many reasons. Such pain experienced after quitting smoking can sometimes be related to the lungs or heart, but there may be other reasons as well. Factors such as eating habits and low physical activity can also affect cardiovascular health. It is a good step to have already been examined by a cardiologist, but if the pain persists, other reasons should be considered. When looking at other possible causes, chest pain can be caused by the lungs, musculoskeletal system, digestive system or even psychological factors. The nature of the pain (chronic, sharp, compressive, etc.), its severity, duration and triggering/relieving factors are important. It is also possible for some people to experience long-term symptoms after COVID infection.
In this case, the best thing to do is to consult a chest diseases specialist for a more detailed evaluation and diagnosis of the pain. In the meantime, continuing with nutritional and lifestyle changes, healthy weight management and regular exercise will be beneficial for cardiovascular health.
